Hi, I designed a minimal pair activity to practice pronouncing and distinguishing sounds. Words are given in phonetics, students take turns saying the words. Their partner listen and writes down the words. Instructions: Go over sounds in class/Hand out paper/ Have students fold the paper in half/ Take turns reading sounds/ Monitor problem words and have students repeat with correct pronunciation. I have found this works great with my students in vietnam!
