52 Weeks of Monday Morning Lessons - Basic & Low Intermediate
Monday mornings used to be a bit tough - students were often a bit slow to get back into speaking English until I invented what I call "Monday Morning Wake-Ups!".
These activities, done in small groups, allow students to review Grammar, Pronunciation, Vocabulary, and Conversational Gambits in a fun, relaxed activity.
I use chart paper because I only have one whiteboard in my class, but you could do this on a side white- or blackboard as well.
Students are allowed to use dictionaries, translators, and available computers to fill in the charts according to the Wake-Up of the Week.
