Focuses on aspects of English pronunciation often found to be difficult for ELLs. It is a short activity that can be used as a time filler, and you can easily use the list of practice words and expand the activity into a writing or additional speaking activity by having the students create sentences or even entire stories incorporating them. I have also expanded it and asked students to provide rhymes for the words as well, which provides extra pronunciation practice, especially with vowel sounds.
