PRONUNCIATION OF ´-ED´ IN 2 EASY RULES
AN EASY WAY TO HELP Ss REMEMBER HOW TO PRONOUNCE THE PAST & PARTICIPLE OF REGULAR VERBS! I have grouped verbs into 3 categories. The suggestion I always give my Ss is to only memorize the rule for groups 1 and 2. If the verbs they are using/reading do not have the final sounds given for groups 1 or 2, then their past and participle forms are pronounced with /d/ sound.
