This activity is for students to practice counting syllables in a word. They need to cut and paste the pictures at the correct place (1,2 or 3 syllables). They need to color them at the very end. It is fun and interesting to have them jump in hula hoops before hand to practice the words (1 hula hoop = 1 syllable). They can also clap in their hands or count them using head shoulders knees and toes! They love it! It is a nice way to work while having fun!
