building and preposition dominos activity
A word activity designed to encourage critical thinking, while practicing prepositions, grammar and sentence structure.
The students must make sentences using the dominos. However, the sentence order is mixed up, so students must think logically and critically to figure out a correct form for every sentence.
The words can be put together in multiple ways to form sentences, however, each domino must be used, and each sentence must make sense. If it does not, students must dissect their sentences and start again.
* Prior to distribution, cut the activity sheet into dominos and divide the students into groups. Distribute one cut-up sheet of dominos to each group.
