Pronoun Practice with the Stars!
A simple exercise that allows students to share a celebrity with classmates. Students select a favorite celebrity, find basic information using the internet, write short sentences using correct pronouns. Students present their celebrity to the class. Audience listens and writes information down about other celebrities. Culminating writing assignment is to write two sentences about someone else´s celebrity.
My beginners really enjoyed this. I thought they would think it was silly, but they liked being able to share a celebrity, from their home country, with others. (some chose an American Celebrity, others chose international stars)
