New kitten questions
5 page- activity, a complete guide for new kittenīs owners, taken from www.yourcat.co.uk, for each part I inserted comprehension questions and while the students read they learn from a specialist important tips to keep a kitten healthy and happy. After silent reading and answering the questions for each part, the students have the whole text to read first silently and them aloud, for the whole class. At the end students should look up the words they are not familiar with in their English to English dictionary and take notes in their notebooks. The last task is to summarize the most important information they have learned from the text. I suggest the teacher promote a debate after the activities, when students may want to explain what they think about the text they have worked with and wrong things new owners do because they donīt have a guide like this one in hand. Besides learning English I think itīs important to learn how to treat animals, specially a pet. I inserted as many cat pictures and clipart as I could without compressing them, so itīll look really nice when you print. Hope you find this ws useful!
