Have you ever...
Here´s a group of "have you ever" question cards.
Use them however you like, but here´s a couple of ideas:
1. Group conversation
Divide into groups if you have a large class. Print out enough copies for each group to have a set of card. One person takes a card and asks the question. One person or everyone answers. Some have full questions, the others have blanks and they can think of their own questions. (The greens ones are a little bit harder than the others.)
2. Game
One person reads the card and the another answers. (Students take turns being "readers" and "answerers". (Maybe you can come up with a better name?)) Then students race to ask follow up questions. Each follow up question gets a point. (If you have a large group, you should also divide into smaller groups and have one person be the "teacher" who keeps track of points and keeps order!) You´ll be surprised how willing kids are to come up with follow up questions when there´s competion involved!! But only a reasonable ammount of questions should be allowed and they shouldn´t repeat simple questions (like "when?" and "why?")
