Verb to be - short answers
Give each student a card (there are 12 cards with information about name, favorite actor/actress, favorite singer/band, favorite sport, favorite athlete, teacher, class and e-mail address) and a chart (on the second page, which does not appear here because the first page is portrait style and the second is landscape, but itīs there, donīt worry). Students should stand up and talk to other students and check if the information they have in the chart is correct. If the information is not correct, they should correct it. The aim of the exercise is to practice short answers for verb to be, and eventually information questions/answers in order to get the correct information to complete the chart. Hope itīs useful.
