In closing the unit on imperatives I brought them this ītestī. It states clearly they need to read all instructions BEFORE they begin and then itt has a series of silly commands (draw a fish, stand up and touch your ear etc.)The last one says they do not need to do any of them. Of course most of them are too busy drawing etc. to really read before they start..... (and boy do they feel stupid when they reach the end!) Did this in class today and it worked fabulously!!!
