These cards are designed to be used in comparing life as it "used to be" to now. The situation statements on the cards are from an activity on Boggle´s World; I added the pictures and made them into activity cards. The cards show a situation "You moved from the city to the country." Students then state how their life "used to" be; for example, "I used to get up early every day". Cards are broken into two files due to file size. For an advanced level class, the activity can be expanded using "would" for habitual past, or using "be used to" for current situation "I used to get up early every day but now I am used to sleeping later"
