Cards Against Hummanity Cards Against Hummanity

Not as crude as it´s namesake, this is a version of the game I whipped together as a fun way to get the class speaking and practising otherwise boring pieces of grammar. Please feel free to adapt these to your own class, these were just knocked up quickly from the top of my head one day and so include the names of people I knew who were going to be working with me on this. First you´ll need to print out the cards and cut them out. Once you´ve done that you´ll need to separate the question cards (the ones with the blank spaces in them) with the answer cards (the ones without blank spaces) The idea of the game is simple. To complete the sentence given with the best possible answer. In class 1 I split the class into teams, Try to have around 5 ish so that you have enough variety of answers without having too many. 2 Give each team about 7 answer cards. (These are the ones without spaces on them) 3 Give them an opportunity to read all their cards and check vocabulary. To play 1 Read one of the Question cards (one of the cards with spaces 2 Each team must submit 1 answer to fill the space 3 Once everyone has decided the teams must read out their answer 4 Points are awarded for the most correct/funny answers. (I normally gave 2 points for the most accurate answer and bonus points for ones that made me laugh or had interesting reasons behind them) 5 Once the points have been added collect in all the used answers and distribute another card to each team so that they have the same amount they started with. 6 Keep going for as long as you like. The winning team usually gets special treatment from me that week.... haha
