MASH - Predicting Your Future!
This is a fun pair-work activity using paper. Students can predict their partner´s future. Ask each other questions, and fill in 2 positive and 2 negative answers for each. The negative choices are the key to making the game funny.
Example: Where will you live?
1. Japan
2. America
3. The North Pole
4. North Korea
Then, use any method you like to decide a number between 1 and 10. Usually I draw a spiral and tell my partner to stop. When they stop, draw a line through the spiral and count the intersections. Then using this number and starting at M., continue to A., S., H., Where will you Live item #1, #2, etc. and cross out the selection when you land on it. If your number is 3, the first item which will be crossed out is the S in MASH. The next would be "Where will you live?", item #2.
Continue until there is one remaining item for each category. This becomes your partners future!
M = You will live in a Mansion
A = You will live in an Apartment
S = You will live in a Shack
H = You will be Homeless
