IRREGULAR VERBS STUDY CARDS SET 3 - PARTICIPLE
PRINT THIS SET IN A DIFFERENT COLOR PAPER. IDEAS for SMALL GROUPS (3-5): 1) Give each group 15-25 cards in their 3 forms (you need SETS 1 & 2). Ss will put SET 1 CARDS face down in the middle, and the rest of the cards (SETS 2 & 3) will be shuffled separately. S1 will give equal number of cards of each SET (2 & 3) to all participants. Student 1 will take and turn over one card from the pile in the middle (SET 1). First student who takes out either the PAST or PARTICIPLE of that verb wins the 3 cards, and at the moment of taking out the card students have to say the pronunciation of the verb. If the first student who took out the card says the wrong pronunciation, the other student has the chance to get the cards if he/she pronounces both cards (simple past and participle) correctly. Then S2 does the same and so on. 2) Play a challenging CONCENTRATION GAME WITH THE 3 SETS. Procedure to play concentration game is explained in SET 2.
