This worksheet is intended for practicing past continuous orally. The worksheets available for past continuous tense so far are mostly used for writing purpose, but not for speaking practice. To allow students to be more familiar with the tense, I sorted out some phrases that most grammar books have. I hope students will have more FEELINGS about the tense, when they are practicing sentences, like "My mother cut herself, while she was cooking." instead of "My mother was cutting herself, while she cooked." Hope it is useful for you.
