Irregular Past Participle Flip Flashcards Part 1 of 5 Irregular Past Participle Flip Flashcards Part 1 of 5

This is part 1 of a set of flipper cards. Print them out on card, printing sheet 2 on the back of sheet 1. Cut the individual cards out and laminate if you wish. Various games can be played with these cards but my favourite is O´s and X´s or ´Tic-Tac-Toe´. Stick the cards with the present tense facing forward on a 3X3 grid (you will need at least 9 cards for this game) Split your students into 2 teams and get a person from each team to pick a square on the grid in turn. They must tell you what the irregular past tense is of that card, if they get it correct, take the card off and draw a ´O´ or ´X´ in the square. The winning team must get 3 in a row (across, down, diagonal) and you can keep playing with someone keeping score of games won. To increase the difficulty, you can ask the students to say a full sentence with the correct irregular past participle. The other cards in the set are available on the following links; Part 2 http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=94366#thetop Part 3 http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=94377#thetop Part 4 http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=94386#thetop
