Past Simple Tense Video Activity - Photo Story Sentence Jumble
This is a fantastic video activity to practise using the Past Simple tense. It is a memory activity that introduces students to the Past Simple. The learners read a set of sentences that are all in the past tense. The sentences describe a story, but they are in the wrong order. They must watch the video and then write the sentences in the correct order on the worksheet.

This activity is ideal for introducing the Past Simple tense to students. It gives them an understanding of how it is used and has examples of numerous simple regular and irregular past tense verbs.
Student Instructions:
- Watch the video.
- Remember the events that happen.
- Talk to a partner about what you remember.
- Use the Past Simple tense to put the sentences into the correct order. .
- It can be done as a speaking activity (in pairs) and/or as a writing activity using the worksheet.
