Battleship game - present continuous
Here is a game to work on present continuous and yes/no questions. It is a two-player game. Each student first secretly arranges their ships on the grid (horizontally or vertically). Then, each player takes a turn to announce a target square. The opponent announces whether or not the square is occupied by a ship. Example: Is Jane swimming? Yes, she is (if the square is occupied)/ No, she isn´t (if the square is not occupied). Finally, when all the squares of a ship have been hit, the player annouces "the ship is sunk". If all of a player´s ships have been sunk, the game is over and his opponent wins.
