PRESENT CONTINUOUS – SPEAKING EXERCISES – PART 1 / 2
SPEAKING EXERCISES + GAMES FOR FUN + POWERPOINT
To practice present continuous verbs (positive, negative and interrogative sentences). Cut up the exercises and let students draw the pieces of paper and form the sentences. I first start with 3rd person singular: He is watching TV. She is driving a car. Then I use the same set of cards for plural: We are watching TV. They are driving a car. Write the structure you want to practice on the board and let students work in pairs or small groups. Then use Powerpoint to revise with the whole class. Also useful for other verb tenses. Enjoy it & have fun.
