Present Continuous Board Game
My ss love board games and so do I! This one I prepared to practice Present Continuous & short answers. You play the dice or a coin (one side, the s goes one ahead; other side s/he goes two - your choice) and the ss have to answer a question or say what the person is doing (when itīs a picture). You can laminate it and will last long. You can also use this board game in a conversation class, ss play the dice and ask questions about the pics. If itīs a question, they answer it and then you continue the conversation. ie. "whatīs your mother doing?" "She is working." "Where does she work?" Or: a ss makes a sentence with a pic "the girl is riding a bike" and you ask: "And you, do you have a bike?" "How often do you ride a bike?". If you use your imagination, you can prepare a whole class of recreation, practice & learning. And fun, of course!
