Deserted Island Lesson
This worksheet places the students in a situation where they have already escaped from a deserted island. They have to write their diary about how they used things on the island (listed on the sheet) to escape.
The teacher should feel free to challenge the students further by writing results to their actions such as, in response to `I opened the chest` the teacher could insert `and found ====`.
This exercise really makes the students want to use a broad vocabulary, and in turn motivates them to look up new words.
Presentations afterwards reinforce the target grammar.
Enjoy!
