This worksheet is to be used after teaching the pronunciation of the past simple with regular verbs ´ed´. There are lots of verbs in each of the three catagories ´d´, ´t´, and ´id´ included in the text. Students can read the text alone underlining the verbs and asigning a pronunciation, then they can take turns reading it aloud. The story has an open ending that can be used as a follow up writing activity.
