Reading, PAST SIMPLE (did, didn´t)
>This piece includes 2 pages: reading on the monster´s day and exercises (TRUE/FALSE and searchong for information).
>Before reading you can show a picture of, for example, Henry the Happy Monster (copy and print it)and introduce him to them.
>Then you can ask children to skim the text and answer these questions:
1. Who was Amanda?
2. Why did Henry stay at home almost all day?
3. Who was Sam?
(this is searching for general information)
>Then ask pupils to scan the text and to complete the following exercises. (these are searching for detailed information).
