Present Simple
ACTIVITY
Each children has a paper with the name of on of the character in the chart and a copy of this chart.
They go around the classroom asking other pupils: “ Do you watch TV? And the other one answer depending on his/her name and the activities this character does.
For example, if a girl is Sandy and she is asked: “Do you read comics and/or books ?” She has to answer, Yes , I do. But if she is asked “do you listen to music? She has to answer, “ No, I don´t”
It is a way to practice questions in present simple and the use of the short answers.
Then, they can write sentences about the information they have in the chart.
It was useful for my pupils because was a dynamic activity and they practiced three skills: speaking, listening and writing.
They liked it, hope you like it too.
