Game Was Were Game Was Were

All cards except "was" and "were" are facing down. The pupils work in small groups and they take turns to turn a card and read the sentence out loud. The pupil first tries to do the task alone, and put either the "was" or the "were" card. After the group discusses the answer, if it is correct or wrong, and why.
