Negative Prefix TabooTM
This activity is like the TabooTM board game. Students can work in pairs or small groups. The goal of the activity is for students to have their teams or partners guess the word on a card. Students can work collaboratively or competitively. They can act out a word, draw a picture (easier with nouns), or give a definition, but they CANNOT use the base word. So, for example, they canīt simply say "This is the negative of legal" or "This is the opposite of legal." This activity is for low to upper intermediate students.
