Running dictation (animals)
This is a running dictation activity. Thatīs how it works:
1. Children get in pairs and are given a blank list (page 4 of the document) that they have to complete.
2. The teacher puts a list, with words, in a wall on the other side of the classroom or in the corridor.
3. One of the students runs and looks at the list and dictates each word to his/her partner who is waiting to complete the blank list.
4. They take turns.
5. When they have finished, the teacher gives them a new document (pages 1 or 2) to fill in with the words they have learnt and draw the vocabulary.
Itīs easier to do than my explanation might tell. ;)
