Picture dictation
Picture dictation.
One student draws what the others dictate in turns.
He/she cannot see the drawing. Pass it around to allow everyone to have a turn dictating a part of the picture to the person at the blackboard. They will naturally need to use parts of the body, clothes and comparatives: bigger, longer, curlier, shorter, etc.
Use your own or your studentsī drawings. The more extreme, the better.
Itīs fun and very effective.
Finish by showing the "artist " the original drawing.
