Containers 4 Pics 1 Word Game
A game to practice using uncountable nouns with measure words/containers. Divide students into groups of 4 or 8 and give each student/pair of students (if they are 8 in a group) a worksheet. The worksheet is also available for download - Containers 4 Pics 1 Word Game Worksheet.
Each round, teams look at the 4 pictures and try to guess the container they have in common. The first team to guess correctly wins 2 points. Next, each member of the team (or the pairs) pick a different picture on the screen to write a sentence about. Teams get 1 point for every correct sentence. After 12 rounds, count up the scores and announce the winning team.
