I wouldnīt be in such a bad mood if...
The students watch some examples of 3rd conditional sentences taken from (the teacherīs) real life. Then, they have to do something similar as homework assignment.
You can also use just the first four slides to practise the Past Simple.
Itīs motivating because they find it funny to read about the teacherīs private life and because, afterwards, they have to write about themselves, which makes the use of the conditional meaningful.
