Students get into the activity where they have to stand together in a group based on the types of transitions they are. You will need a fairly large group for this. Otherwise you may give more than one handout to a student to make up for the lack of people. They also really enjoyed the activity where I had them complete the simple paragraph with the transitions. They get a sense of accomplishment regardless of the level.
