Could you please... Go Fish game.
- Print out two sets of cards for each group of up to 6 students so that there are 18 pairs (print both sides so you get the backing). Itīs better to laminate them if you have time.
- Pre-teach "(name) could you please _______" "Sure! No problem!" and "Iīm sorry, I canīt" or phrases like that, I wrote them on the board for students to see.
- Play go fish! Each student gets 3 cards and the rest go in the middle. The students want to make pairs of cards. Students take it in turns to ask "(name) could you please _______" with whatever they have on one of their cards, if the other student has that card then they give it and make a pair if not, they take another from the middle. The winner is the student to get the most pairs OR to get rid of their cards the fastest.
