Jeopardy Game
This game is excellent for classroom teaching. Teachers can engage students in a classroom grammar review for elementary ESL. It can be used to energize a dull class, to review work that was done or simply as a reward for good classroom work. It is especially useful for teaching ESL at the beginner level. However, the template is already designed to change the questions or sentences at any level. Have fun teaching English!
This classic Jeopardy game has 4 categories that students can choose from. All of the slides are filled with questions or sentences as well as the choices students can make.
How to play the Jeopardy game.
Before starting to play the game. Divide the class into different groups (4) You can decide how you can divide the groups. The score has to be manually typed or added on your note book or piece of paper (see the graphic below)
For example, if the team scores 100 points on a correct answer, the teacher would manually type in 100. On the next question, if the same team scores a 400 point question, the teacher would click in the score box and delete (100), and change it to 500 (400 + 100). At the end of the game, the winner is whoever got the highest score.
