Things in the Classroom (Part 1)
A fun vocabulary introcduction. Students will see a close up of the item and take a guess at what it is...the next graphic shows a bit more of the object...etc....until they see the whole thing. Then underneath is the word they were trying to guess.
Before each object I alwas ask them, "What is it?" so they can get to know that phrase too.
Once the answer is revealed I usually ask, "What is it?" again....Students must respond with a full sentence together....."Itīs a map!"
I wish I knew how to make smaller ppt. files so I could fit more items in one ppt. Find part too uploaded as well (eraser and stapler)
