Let’s go to the supermarket! Remember game
Phonetics based lesson. I intentionally put /æ/, /ʌ/, and /l/. Those are difficult pronunciations for Japanese, but I do think it works for other language speakers too.
1) One student selects an item and says, "I went to the supermarket and I bought an apple."
2) The next student chooses another item and continues, "I went to the supermarket and I bought an apple and ketchup."
In this activity, the students have to remember what the previous students said and add one more item to the list.
Please note that in the context of this activity, the focus is on practicing the target sounds and sentence structure, so the sentences have been simplified to prioritize phonetics.
