St Patrick´s day
This is a good ppt for teaching vocabulary. The teacher can talk about this traditional Irish holiday. Show students where Ireland is and what the capital city is. They will also know that the color green is associated with the Irish and that on this holiday one would see people wearing green wigs, t-shirts, etc. They will learn words such as druid, leprechaun, monastery, etc. All words that are associated with this day. afterwards the teacher can let them write about their favorite holiday and compare it to this holiday
