Inside Mary Elizabeth´s House / My Monster´s House
I use this worksheet in conjunction with the book Inside Mary Elizabeth´s House. Print the house on one side of the paper and the "Draw Your Monster Here" on the back side. The children then color the house and draw their own monster. You can add appearance vocabulary to enhance their learning in drawing the monsters. Then we cut each window out or you can only cut 3 side of the windows and make flaps. The paper is folded in half and through the windows of the house the children can see their monster, just like in the book.
