Nationalities Bunting Flags to Decorate your Classroom with...(Part 3 of 4)
As I teach people from lots of different nationalities I made this bunting using the pictures (kindly donated by Teacher2009)and some new ones too! I have put it up in my classroom as a form of welcoming decoration. To make it into bunting, cut out a long piece of string that will fit from one side of your class to the other. Next print out the powerpoint onto card and cut out the triangles, attach them to the string with cellotape (or glue two of the same colour triangle back to back sticking the string in between the two triangles, this is what I have done in my class as you can see both sides where it is hanging; but if it is going up alongside a wall then you can just use tape to save time!)Arrange the triangles so that a different colour is next to each triangle i.e. red, blue, yellow, green, red, blue, yellow etc. I´ve had a lot of positive comments from the teachers that I work with and thought i´d share it with those of you who teach mixed nationality classes or those of you who are teaching the different nationalities in English. It goes really well with the activities uploaded by Teacher2009, follow the links below;
