This Ppt guides Ss through a 6 step reading process, dealing with a semi-difficult text (The Princess and the Pea). The text isnīt difficult in terms of the vocabulary, rather in the contextual values of the sentences, and how they cohere to communicate a main idea.
Ss are asked to predict the title of the text, and the main idea.
The steps guide the Ss through a self questioning/answering process, helping them to rationalize what they do know about the text, and more importantly, what they donīt know.
