Excuse me, how do you spell _________?
I teach English to Korea students. Despite studying English for years, my students still didnīt know how to ask "How do you spell ____________?" Instead, many were saying "Teacher, how spell you ______" or "Teacher, ________spelling??" I got really tired of this. I told them to stop calling me "teacher" and instead say "Excuse me" or "Excuse me, Miss, how do you spell _______" Now when my students say "_____ spelling?!?!" I make them them ask the question correctly.
The PowerPoint also includes "Understand?" and "Got it?"
