A really good presentation, thoughful and extense. Can you explain to me the purpose to using a song in Portuguese at the begining? I want to know so I can find other similar in my own language or in English for that matter.

In fact the two first slides refer to things students say (in Portuguese) during our classes. This is what they mean: "Fessora, que dia que vai ter música?" The word "Fessora" should be "Professora", but that is the way students say it. The sentence means "Teacher, when are we going to have a song? And the other slide with words in Portuguese means "This is not very often used, is it?" and it is what I heard once when I was teaching the Simple Present. The whole thing makes much more sense with a .doc file I am uploading in a few minutes. Please take a look at it and you will see it makes much more sense. I did not use a song in Portuguese. The whole thing was based on When I m Sixty-four which is a very well known song by the Beatles. Have fun!
