Living-room

Tell your students to bring crayons to class. Different colors. A lot of colors. Don’t show them the picture (slide 1). Give them the written description of the room (slides 4 and 5) and print slide 2 so they have a perspective of the room. Tell them to draw the picture as they imagine it. The one who gets the closest will get a prize (a chocolate bar?). You will be amazed at how close they get to the original picture. It is GREAT fun for them and it is a wonderful reading comprehension exercise.
