I want to start a collection of PPTs that deal with correcting mistakes that are commonly made by learners of English. Of course the mistakes that are made by Koreans (who I teach) will be different from those in other parts of the world. The PPT is designed to be used, not as an entire lesson, but as a "time filler." I donīt want to be negative, but I think itīs important to correct these mistakes ASAP so that they donīt get passed on. The PPT explains the mistake and corrections in a very clear and logical way that is easy to understand. There is a picture based speaking activity at the end. The PPT slides include an "editable text box" for the speaking part, where you can type (while in slideshow mode.)
