This is part one of a series of powerpoints on comparatives for beginners. Part One covers regular building of the comparative of one or two syllable words:(adjective plus -er).
Subsequent parts cover doubling the consonant and adding -er, changing y to i and adding -er, irrigular comparatives, and building comparaties of long, multisyllable words.
