Are they supposed to use that given word in a sentence to get the point/s? When do they get the bomb, or steal/swap points, etc? I´d appreciate it if you could respond, I liked the idea and would like to use it, I don´t quite understand how to :) |

To MarianaC (and others who might have questions): It depends on you, as the teacher, to decide if they are skilled enough to use the vocabulary word in a sentence - otherwise, I just have my little 2nd and 3rd graders say only the word. Slide 2 provides info about ways to earn and lose points. Students can earn 1, 3, or 5 points. The symbols on the right indicate whether they lose all their points (BOMB), steal, or swap, or all teams lose their points. When a students calls out a number and the corresponding slide appears with the given vocabulary word, the number of points earned or any of the symbols discussed on slide 2 will appear next to the image. These indicate whether the teams earn or lose their points. I hope this info helps! |
