The powerpoint that goes with the whistling ghost listening and multiple choice. Get students to line up in 2 teams (if you have a biggish class) on either side of the board. They have to run, in relay, to write an adjective on the board they predict might be popular in ghost/horror stories. Give the students only 3 minutes and see what they come up with. The p-point then reveals what were the top 10 ghost adjectives in 2009 -the kids love the challenge! Then get them to use these 10 adjectives in a story of their own (oral >written). I then get them to listen to the Whistling Ghost story and answer the multiple choice sheet I attached. Enjoy.
