This clarifies the form and use of the past simple Negative. I told my students a story about the past simple universe - there are 2 planets: the regular verbs and irregular verbs. In each of the planets there are countries (the verbs). In the irregular verbsī planet there is one Super Strong Country (the verb to be) which doesnīt need help to make the negative. all the other countries are weak and need the help of īDidnītī. They loved it! the story and visuals really help! hope you like it!
