SCRAMBLED LYRICS - PARAMORE: THAT´S WHAT YOU GET
Cut out the flashcards and give a set to each small group. As students listen to the song they have to organize the cards in the correct order.
Once you´ve gone over the correct order and explained any new vocabulary, ask each student to take a card, stand up and find a partner.
Student 1 reads the sentences he has to student 2, but he has to substitute a word by saying "BEEP" instead. Student 2 has to guess what the word is. For example:
Student 1: "Why do we like to BEEEEEEP so much.
Student 2: "Why do we like to HURT so much."
Student 2: "Oh, why, all the possiblities I´m sure you´ve BEEP."
Student 1: "Oh, why, all the possibilities I´m sure you´ve HEARD."
When they´re done, students look for another partner to work with.
They keep switching partners until the activity is over.
Collect the cards and as a follow up you can ask students to come up to the board and write all the new words they learned from the song.
