							| | Giving direction map game
We had been working on finding landmarks and cities on maps. Like the city is northeast of Paris, so decided to expand it in a game. There is more instruction on the last slides for the teacher. I created a basic format of how it is played by having the students find the city I was from, but didnīt tell them that. They had to narrow down the search by asking questions. Once the had the answer divided the class into 2 teams where one team picked a location and the other had to ask questions to find the other team on the map. Once this was done they switched. I had in the class an amount given for level of difficulty of the question, but also they lost the money for amount of questions they had to ask. One difficulty is some maps place Asia in the western region of the map even though it is the eastern nations. Copyright 13/1/2011  William (Bill) Roney
